Recovered most of my PC and connected devices from a power surge caused by a freak lightning that hit one of those damn towers on top of our apartment bldg (they should ban those from residential apts!!!) I had a UPS with surge protection, a power supply marked with surge protection and an ASUS mobo marked surge protected. Don't ever trust product labels.
